We’ll do a brief river rundown and answer any last minute questions before sending you on your way. You’ll enjoy an amazing day on the third most biologically diverse river in the country, The Harpeth River, and land at the big orange buoy to complete your adventure! Our team will be waiting to collect your gear and garbage.

Final Float Notes:

  • Float time depends on the day’s river speed, the route you’ve chosen, as well as your frequency and duration of bank stops along the way. Kayaks and paddle boards are the fastest vessels in the fleet while tubes and lily pads tend to be slow and steady. (Plan for up to 6 hours of fun in the sun just in case!)

  • Our rental rates include all of your associated gear pending your choice of vessel such as life vests, paddles, etc. Our rental return time is 6pm.

  • Once payment has been processed, your reservation will be confirmed and reservations are final and non refundable unless operating conditions are hazardous. Conditions will be determined by Sunshine’s Adventures the morning of your reservation.

  • In the event of inclement weather or hazardous river conditions your reservation is subject to delay, reschedule, or cancellation up until the day of your scheduled reservation. A hazardous conditions confirmation text will be sent. If cancellation due to hazardous river conditions occurs, a full refund for your reservation will be issued.

Is there an age limit?

  • No. We believe in starting them young! But a parent or legal guardian must be present at all times if guests are 18 years of age or younger. If a guest is under 2 years of age they must have completed swimming lessons.

Is there a weight limit?

  • No, but you will need to be able to safely exit a river tube (or other vessel) unassisted and walk a short distance over rocks.
